Recently Qualcomm Snapdragon has officially launched its new processing platform which is Snapdragon-845.
845 is design as custom cores which is Kryo 385, the micro-processor is built on ARM Cortex 10 nm technology. The micro-processor is paired with Adrenos latest 630 GPU which will provide 30% better performance and 30% more efficiency.
Snapdragon-845 is an Octa-core CPU with 4 high powered cores clocked at 2.8 GHz which said to increase 25-30% performance and remaining 4 low powered cores clocked at 1.8 GHz which said to increase 15% performance.
Another highlight of the 845 is the X-20 LTE Modem which tends to provide the download speed of 1.2GBPS and upload speed of 150 MBPS along with which you will get the dual-sim VoLTE support which will let you use 4G-VoLTE services simultaneously from both telecom operators.
They have also done some improvements in bluetooth which will connect both of your Earbuds separately so they will save the 50% power consumption. Along with that it supports WiFi standard 802.11AD which operates WiFi at 60 GHz which will be compatible in the upcoming days.
The Spectra 280 ISP will let you capture 4K videos at 60FPS and 720P videos at 480 FPS, along with that you can capture still shot upto 16MP where frame rate is 60 FPS. It will also improve the playback of 4K at 60FPS which lets you play HD games smoothly. It also has higher level of security which will secure your Iris, Face-ID, Bio-metric, Voice, Payment and SIM details.
Snapdragon-845 supports Qualcomm quick charge 4.0 which will let you charge your device 0-50% in 15 minutes, as the processor is very efficient which will improve battery performance.
Snapdragon 845 has improved performance in every department you name like improved network speed, improved processing speed and improved capture and playback so 845 is a high-end processor which will get used not only in mobiles but Windows-10 laptops also. Taking about smartphone Xiaomis Mi-7 will be the frist phone featuring Snapdragon 845.
